How does the design process work?
Once you’ve confirmed that you’re happy with our quote we will send over a design proposal that includes a deposit invoice and proposed project timeline. Once you’ve paid your deposit (50%) we will schedule a Strategy Session (via phone/Skype) and/or send you through a questionnaire (depending on your package inclusions). We will then move on to designing some concepts for you. You will then have the opportunity to give us your feedback (usually via email). We will then continue to tweak and refine your design until it is approved. Once everything is approved, finalised and paid for we will send over your final files.
How long with the design process take?
Each job is different. If you have a deadline in mind please let us know at the beginning of the process and we will let you know if it is achievable. When we start working together we will send you a Welcome Kit that outlines your project timeline so you know when you can expect to hear from us and when we expect to hear from you.
What kind of graphic design do you do?
We specialise in re-branding established businesses, but we can do all kind of graphic design. We’ve worked with everyone from multinational corporations through to small businesses. We can handle almost any kind of design project whether it is a logo or full brand identity, an annual report, an illustration for a t-shirt, or a website. Where are you located?
We’re based in Springwood, Queensland – 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, but we work with clients from all over the world. We can Skype if you’re based outside of Australia. If you’re local we can travel to the wider Brisbane area including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich (travel fees apply).
Can you tell me your hourly rate?
For the majority of work that we do we price by project rather than per hour. This is because as a highly experienced and skilled designer, Felicity is able to complete projects faster and with fewer revisions than a less experienced designers, so an hourly design rate isn’t going to give you an idea of how much a project is going to cost. When we do price per hour, our hourly rate varies depending on the project and the skills required. Please contact us and we can send you a n-obligation quote for your project.
Why should I choose you over a big agency?
We are a small team of two and we take on a limited number of clients each year, to ensure that each project receives the time and attention it deserves. You get to work directly with your designer – Felicity, and you don’t have to worry about being lost among hundreds of other clients.
Can I see some samples of your work?

Do you outsource to offshore designers?
No! We never outsource to off-shore designers. The vast majority of design work is completed by Felicity. During peak times we may bring in additional designers to ensure that we can meet client deadlines, but we only work with local, qualified professionals.
I need design work done on a regular basis, can you help?
Absolutely! We have a number of clients that we’ve been working with long-term on a retainer basis. You may find this is a more economical option compared to hiring an in-house designer. If you have a larger, more involved project, lots of little jobs, or you need the same work done on a regular basis, this may be the best option for you. Not only may it be more economical, but it saves the hassle of getting each job quoted and paid separately.
What if I don’t like what you design?
We don’t take on a project unless we’re confident that we’re the right people for the job. We’re very selective about the work that we do, and we will refer you to another designer if we feel that we’re not the best match. Once the design work is underway, our process is collaborative and allows us to continue to work with you on refinements until you are completely happy. Sometimes we hit the nail on the head first time, sometimes it can take some revisions, but we always ensure our clients walk away satisfied. We always work to our highest standards within the confines of the timescale, brief and budget provided. If at any time you decide you don’t want to continue working with us, that is completely fine, and you will only need to pay for the work that has been completed up to that point.
Can you take care of printing and production?
Definitely! We have relationships with a number of trade printers, who can be considerably cheaper than retail printers, so we can usually get you a great deal on printing. Alternatively, if you prefer to organise printing yourself we’ll provide you with the final designs in any format required. We’ll discuss early on in the process how you prefer to handle printing and production.
Can you do free work for my charity?
We already do free work for our chosen charity, Animal Liberation Queensland, but we do offer generous discounts to small-scale NFPs, and we’re happy to look at sponsorship proposals.
